Gross Donations
Simplifying Donations with PTJ Conversion
PizzaTON Campaigns provides two ways to donate: Net and Gross. The campaign creator decides which method is used for each supported token or currency. This setting offers flexibility and can be changed by the campaign owner at any time.
The Gross Donation method streamlines the donation process by automatically converting all contributions to PizzaTON's native token, PTJ. Let's explore how it works:
Automatic Conversion to PTJ: Regardless of the original donation currency (TON, USDT, etc.), the Gross Donation method automatically converts it to PTJ before it reaches the campaign creator. For example, if someone donates USDT, the creator will receive the equivalent value in PTJ.
Benefits for Campaign Creators:
Unified Currency Management: Creators can manage all their earnings in PTJ, eliminating the need to handle multiple cryptocurrencies.
Access to PTJ Ecosystem: Holding PTJ allows creators to participate in the PizzaTON ecosystem, potentially benefiting from future utility and growth.
Reduced Complexity: Simplifies accounting and financial management by consolidating all donations into a single currency.
Gross Donation Fee Structure
To support platform operations and development, PizzaTON Campaigns applies a 5% fee on all Gross Donations. This fee is automatically deducted by the router during the donation processing.
Token Burning Mechanism:
In contrast to the Net Donation method, 100% of the collected fee from Gross Donations is automatically used to purchase and burn PTJ tokens. This strategy reinforces the platform's commitment to:
Decreasing Token Supply: Further reducing the overall circulating supply of PTJ tokens.
Increasing Token Value: The continuous burning mechanism contributes to PTJ scarcity, potentially driving its value up in the long run.
